The RunGood Series made its first ever stop in Tunica, MS, opening their fall series in record fashion. A total of 582 entrants bought into the $560 event, almost tripling the $100,000 guarantee and setting the series record for entrants. David Troutman won the title and $58,797, beating bracelet winner Kyle Cartwright heads up. Local pro and former SHRPO final tablist Tim Burt finished in fourth place.

MSPT Awards Indiana State Poker Championship
The Mid-States Poker Tour traveled to the Tropicana in Evansville, Indiana for the $250,000 guaranteed MSPT Main Event. The $1,100 buy-in brought in a field of 320 entrants, putting the prize pool over $300,000. Satish Thakur defeated a final table featuring Kurt Jewell and Craig Welko to win the $71,047 first place prize.

America’s Poker Tour Heads To Chicagoland
North of Evansville, the America’s Poker Tour was in Gary, In at the Majestic Star Casino. The $100,000 guaranteed event drew 183 entries with Bryan Skreens finishing on top. Skreens won $39,106 after making a heads up deal with Gary Herstein, who earned $30,000.
